Issue/Introduction

Does DX UIM robot or any probes have access to make changes to the OS (Windows/UNIX) kernel?

Resolution

Robot can add some registry entries related to service in Windows and Unix where it add service related entries in service file.

The probes use the system calls and APIs to interact with underlined OS (Windows, Unix) for reading and writing its config files and some other related operations.

No probe can modify or change any other configuration or settings in Kernel.
