After Installing the 8.8.2 Linux Host Package Installer Linux agents 8.7.24/8.8.0 are Ineligible for Upgrade

Issue/Introduction

• After installing the Linux 8.8.2.2651456 host package installer, any Linux agents that is 8.7.24/8.8.0 show with a Blue connection dot and "Up to Date" upgrade status
• Upgrade attempts fail with the error: "X Computer(s) were ineligible for upgrade"

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• Linux Agent: Version 8.7.x and 8.8.0
• Linux Host Package Installer: Version 8.8.2.2651456

Resolution

Upgrade the host package installer from build 8.8.2.2651456 to build 8.8.2.2669684.94 where this issue has been resolved.
