Define totals based on other totals

Issue/Introduction

Scenario under consideration:

• A custom attribute is defined, of 'Number' data type, say, a1
• Another custom attribute of the same data type, say, a2
• A third attribute of 'Calculated' data type, say, a3
• a3 = a1 - a2
• 'Show Total Row' is turned on in the Grid View in Modern UX
• Now, is it possible to show the 'Totals' against the a3 column as Sum(a1) - Sum(a2)?

Resolution

This is not possible.

'Totals' shown in a3 column will the Sum(Values against instances of the a3 column).
