z/OSMF workflows for Datacom/AD configuration does not create $AXISET or update members

Issue/Introduction

Members documented in the Post-Installation Considerations under Production Jobs are not set up to be utilized as documented. The main reason is that $AXISET is not created.  Did I miss something in the documentation addressing this?

Resolution

If you use z/OSMF workflows to configure Datacom/AD software, you have to manually crate $AXISET member by customizing and submitting member AXCUS01 in the datacom.v151.INSTJCL installation library, which also will copy other configuration JCL members from CAAXSAMP to INSTJCL. $AXISET member will be created in the Custom Proclib (CUSPROC).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are upgrading Datacom/AD, you need to continue using the DSN format that you currently have. Therefore, you need to know if any of the file groups listed in AXCUS01 are currently defined as VSAM, then use V for those. Anything that you know are not VSAM files should be identified with B.
