UI unresponsive in loading state for several minutes after each login / page reload

Issue/Introduction

When the user logs into Aria Operations or more generally every time the page is refreshed, the UI is stuck in an unresponsive loading state for several minutes. 

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.18.x

VCF 5.2

Cause

This only happens when the UI of Aria Operations is accessed from a firewalled environment on the user side as the In Page Feedback (IPF) JavaScript client is prevented from loading (as it's hosted externally) thus holding up the loading process.

Resolution

• Login to Aria Operations UI.
• Go to Preferences on the top right corner of the page.
• Uncheck the "Enable Product Survey" option.
• Click Save and Close.

Additional Information

At the moment, this option needs to be disabled for all users separately. An option to disable for all users is not available currently.
