Grid portlet using System Provider - "Action Item System Data Provider" errors out with the following. 'System error. Contact system administrator'
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a Grid Portlet using System Provider - "Action Item System Data Provider"
2. In Clarity Classic 'Overview: General' page, Configure 'General' tab and add the portlet created in step one to this page.
3. Return back to 'Overview: General' page.
Expected:
Portlet to display page without error
Actual:
Portlet displays Error 'System error. Contact system administrator'

In oracle - Portlet throws "System error. Contact system administrator" whereas in PostGres portlet throws "Sorting by the column specified is not allowed."
