Issue/Introduction

In the uc4.smd file, as part of the Service Manager, there was an attribute WINTITLE in older versions of Automic, i.e:

DEFINE UC4 JWP2;*JWP_STARTCMD;*SRV_STARTPATH;WINTITLE=*UC4*

This allows the winclose message to be sent and the process to be closed gracefully from within Windows.

Environment

Automic Workload Automation

Component: Service Manager

Cause

The Service Manager Service cannot be started on Windows:

Windows could not start the UC4.ServiceManager [Automic] service on Local Computer.

Error 1067:The process terminated unexpectedly.

The event viewer shows the following message:

Resolution

This is no longer needed. All Automation Engine server processes and agents are setting this title on their own now. Therefore, this parameter is obsolete
