When running any inventory, Full or Delta, Hardware or Software, the inventory process fails and the following is seen:
An unknown exception was thrown on server side.
Invalid UUID String
No useful information was found in the Agent Log, even with elevated logging enabled as documented: Configuring logging on the Notification Server and an Altiris Agent computer
The Event Viewer logs (Application & System) also didn't provide any helpful information.
NOTE: Only one machine out of nearly 1600 was seeing this and they were all running Windows 10 and were basically the same make/model of machine.
