Issue/Introduction

vTEP interface listed as an uplink interface, when it is not a physical interface

 

Environment

VRNI 6.x
NSX-T 3.1.x
NSX-T 3.2.x
NSX-T 4.1.x
NSX-T 4.2.x

Cause

Based on design, VTEPs are modelled as VMKNIC where subtype is VTEPs. Here, the same physical interface fp-eth0/1 is used for overlay traffic as well as the VLAN traffic. Aria Operations for Networks created single interface for physical as well as for the vTEP

Resolution

This is resolved by engineering in 6.14 release.
