Need the DLP Endpoint Agent to report the endpoint's hardware serial number

Issue/Introduction

Can the DLP Endpoint Agent capture and report the endpoint's hardware serial number?
Host names can change and they double machine counts when they are reimaged or a new host name is assigned. 
The endpoint hardware serial number would provide a unique identifier.
The serial number can also allow the customer to tie this data into their asset management system.

Resolution

Feature request ISFR-3382 has been submitted to add this ability.
