Unable to add VMXNET network adapter to a VM

Issue/Introduction

When adding a network adapter to a VM, there is only the E1000 option for the Adapter type

Cause

VM was deploy using the guest OS Family and Guest OS version "Other Linux (64bit)

Resolution

Select a Guest OS Version that supports VMXNET 3 adapter. Before making changes to the Guest OS Version, verify that the OS being installed can support the VMXNET3 network adapter.
