Environment

vSphere Replication 9.0.x

Cause

The next release of vSphere Replication (9.0.3) will deprecate the traditional vSphere Replication data path and replication through the appliance in favor of the Enhanced vSphere Replication.

Resolution

This is an informational message.No immediate action required at this time.

At present, you have VMs configured using the legacy vSphere Replication mode.

To use the enhanced replication capabilities with vSphere Replication, you must reconfigure your existing replication to use enhanced replication mode.

Additional Information

With vSphere 8.0U2 or later, vSphere Replication 9.0.x can reconfigure existing legacy replications as enhanced replications.
