  • You are attempting to resize a VM's CPU or Memory value after it has been deployed.
  • When attempting to perform the OOTB resize action on a given VM, your are met with a warning that states to correct the highlights errors.
  • At the bottom of the Action Input window beneath the value you're attempting to resize, there is a warning that states Invalid value, maximum value can be XXXX

Environment

  • Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

  • A flavor mapping has been created in the customer's environment with a maximum value that is lower than the value that they are attempting to resize to.

Resolution

  • Create a new flavor mapping with a higher limit than the current highest limit/largest flavor, to make the OOTB resize action work with changes attempting to be made on the VM.
