The network management ports on controller A and B should be configured for redundancy, in case one controller fails. The redundant configuration will allow for diagnosis of the cause of any possible failures in the case that one controller fails to respond.
The 2U192 is built to produce a warning if one of the network management ports is not configured. While this is not a failure, the system reports a hardware failure in Security Analytics if both interfaces are not configured and connected.
The network management port is on the far right on Controller A (on top). The network management port is on the far left on Controller B (on bottom). Both should be configured and network cables connected for redundancy, should one controller fail and further diagnostics be needed.
