Can perl be removed from Spectrum systems?

Issue/Introduction

Can Perl be removed?  It is being flagged by security.

Resolution

Perl cannot be removed from the systems.

Spectrum scripts are written in perl and will fail if removed.

Upgrades will also fail to be successful.

Perl can, however, be upgraded to the latest version available that OS supports.
