Workflows involving Guest OS Power Operations Fail Since vSphere Upgrade to 8.0U3

Issue/Introduction

• Following an upgrade of vCenter Server to 8.0U3 workflows which use the 'com.vmware.library.vc.vm.power' (and similar other Guest OS related workflows) fail.

Environment

• VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.16.x
• VMware vCenter Server 8.0U3 and higher

Cause

•  VMware vCenter Server 8.0U3 and higher are only supported from Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.17 upwards.

Resolution

• Upgrade to Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.17 or above to alleviate the issue.
