When using Automation Central in Aria Operations to schedule a restart or power on/off of a VM the job fails with just "Error" in the History tab.

Automation Central Jobs to delete the old snapshots failed to run.
The job may also show a status of 'Not Dispatched' in Administration > Recent Tasks

Insufficient Permissions for Operational Actions on vCenter
Aria Operations require Operational permissions to perform certain actions like delete Old Snapshots, Powered off VMs, Idle VMs and Power Off idle VMs.
We can allow Aria Operations to have certain permissions by checking the option "Operational Actions" under Data Source > Integration > vCenter Adapter. Below is the example:
