Issue/Introduction

Question around using FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) instead of simple name

Environment

PAM 4.1.x

Cause

Is there the capability to add an FQDN as the Host Name in the Target Account configuration e.g. mynet.domain.net or are we restricted to only using single devices within PAM

Resolution

Based on an AD target account; You want to limit the number of AD DC's... If you changed the device address to mynet.domain.net and set to use DNS then all IPs in that DNS name can be used to manage the accounts for that Target connector.
