Issue/Introduction

A facility was defined in the Top Secret parameter file for zosmf, but when issuing TSS MODIFY FAC(ZOSMF), the following error was received:

TSS9186E The Facility name is invalid no such facility name.

Resolution

The facility name in the Top Secret parameter file was specified in lower case. 

FAC(USER13=NAME=zosmf)

Change ‘zosmf’ to upper case (‘ZOSMF’) and do a temporary shutdown and restart of Top Secret.
