Alarm for Error in Delta Sync on the Global Manager

• Added in release: 9.1
• Alarm Description
  
  • Purpose: This alarm is raised for error in delta sync.
  • Impact: NSX IDFW may miss some directory group/user updates.

Environment

VMware vDefend Firewall

Resolution

For 9.1 and higher

1. Check if there are any LDAP server connectivity alarms on the NSX Global Manager.
2. Find the error details in /var/log/syslog. Search for text: Error happened when synchronize LDAP objects around the alarm trigger time.
3. Check with AD administrator if any recent AD changes may cause the errors.
4. Maintenance window required for remediation: no
