  • Added in release: 9.1
  • Alarm Description
    • Purpose: This alarm is raised for connectivity to ldap server lost
    • Impact: NSX IDFW will not be able to sync directory group/user data with AD server.

Resolution

For 9.1 and higher

  1. Check the LDAP server is reachable from NSX Global Manager node.
  2. Check the LDAP server is running correctly.
  3. Check if any firewalls blocking connection between the LDAP server and NSX Global Manager node. 
  4. Maintenance window required for remediation: no
