invalid appid <no>on the business policy tab in VCO

Issue/Introduction

Error seen on VCO business policy tab as 'invalid appid' as seen in below screen shot.

 

This generally occurs when a custom created app ID is missing from the application map.

For example, in the app-map below, there are no app IDs for 7011, 7012, 7013, 7014, and 7015.

 

Environment

All Velocloud SD-WAN velocloud edge environment

Cause

This generally occurs during edge upgrades or operator profile changes where the old app-map might have custom app IDs that have not been updated in the new app-map.

Resolution

You need to create the missing or invalid app ID in the current app-map, or update the operator profile with the correct app-map that includes the custom app IDs.
