UIM Robot not starting on AIX systems after upgrade to 23.4.1

Issue/Introduction

All AIX Robots in Error after Trying to Upgrade robots to 23.4.1 using the robot_update in archive, Error:
root@XXX:/opt/CA/bin > ./nimbus start exec ():
         0509-036 Cannot load program ./nimbus because of the following errors:
         0509-150   Dependent module /usr/lib/libiconv.a(libiconv.so.2) could not be loaded.
         0509-152   Member libiconv.so.2 is not found in archive

Environment

UIM:23.4.X

OS:AIX

Cause

 

Robot 23.4.x need libiconv.so.2 which is part of third party libiconv, this lib is not part of standard AIX OS

Resolution

Download and apply hotfix nimsoft-robot.aix6.1.ppc64.rpm attached to case below.
