Issue/Introduction

Steps to Reproduce: 

  • Create a new automation between Jira (OnPrem) Epic and Rally Feature.
  • Create a new Feature in Rally and run the sync.
  • Verify Epic ticket creation in Jira application.
  • Create another new automation between Jira Story and Rally User story with below field mappings.

  • Create a new UserStory in Rally and run the sync.
  • Once the Story created in Jira, do an epic link and sync the record.
     

Expected Results: 

Parent and Feature fields in User Story should show the Rally Feature corresponding to the linked Epic in Jira.

 

Actual Results:

Record is getting skipped in ConnectAll Dashboard

Additional Information

Workaround: 

  • Map Jira "EpicLink" field with Rally Portfolio item in UserStory<>Story automation

  • Configure Translate record id with Epic<>Feature automation and change the "Sync Value Type" to ById on rally side.
