UNAB start cores after upgrade from 12.8 to 14.1

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 14.1 the UNAB agent would core immediately. This occurs on several builds (14.1 CP04 and CP05).

Environment

Redhat Linux

Cause

Reviewing the system we found that Privileged Identity Manager 12.8 was still installed. UNAB and Privileged Identity Manager / PAMSC share several library files. Since these files still existed on the system the upgraded versions could not overwrite these causing a mismatch.

Resolution

Upgrading Privileged Identity Manager 12.8 to PAMSC 14.1 allowed UNAB 14.1 to install correctly.
