caf version still displays 14.5.0.153 after installation of a CU patch

Issue/Introduction

After installation of a CU patch, caf version or caf status commands are still displaying version 14.5.0.153. Is it normal ?

Client Automation 14.5

Resolution

Yes it is normal, version displayed in "caf status" and "caf version" commands are still 14.5.0.153

 

To see which CU patch is applied on the machine, execute dsmsver command

 

 

Another method is to check the agent version displayed is DSM Explorer for the computer
