AWS edge not forming tunnels with gateway and other edges

Issue/Introduction

The AWS edge was successfully activated; however, it stopped forming tunnels and displayed the following error message on the VCO overview page.

"Connectivity through the edge service gateway is down"

This issue typically arises when the AWS edge is deployed in a single-arm( single NIC) deployment mode.

Environment

All Vmware Velocloud SD-WAN edge

Resolution

Single NIC deployment is not supported. The recommended deployment method is dual NIC mode, which is not detailed in the guide below.
