Process step to create Action Items takes on average 1 minute plus to complete

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1- Create a process based on a sub-object, "Pricing."

2- Start Condition - Update: ( Pricing Name = 'Broadcom' )

3- Add a Manual Action under the "Start Step" with these details:

thisPricing

linked to Project.id (which is the parent object)

4- Give it two status codes

5- Subject: Pricing submitted for the project: ${id.project_code}

Message:

Project Name: ${id.name}

Client Name: ${id.brcm_eu_client_name}

Total Project Value: ${id.bm_tot_prj_value}

Sell-In Date: ${id.brcm_sell_in_date}

Pricing View Link: ${thisPricing.brcm_pr_vi_lk}

6- Link Start Step to Finish, Save and Validate, etc...

7- Open a project and click on the pricing tab

Change the name of an existing Pricing row to "Broadcom."

Create action item step tasks that are 20 - 35 seconds or longer.

Expected Results: Manual Action Item outside of this pricing object takes a few seconds, almost immediate

Actual Results: Create Action Items takes time

Workaround: 

Wait for the process to complete...
