AWX Ansible Tower Integration fails with "Unable to obtain oAuth2 Token with provided credentials"

Issue/Introduction

When using a MS Active Directory credential for integrating  Ansible Tower from Amazon Services (AWX) there is a failure to validate credentials

The example error message is similar to :

 

Environment

VMware Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

AWX provides a web-based user interface, REST API, and task engine that can have external authentications sources and requires OAuth2 Token configuration settings to be enabled 

Resolution

Enable the ability for AWX to send oAuth2 tokens back to external authentications.
