Are there OS dependencies when upgrading the EDR server OS to a new version?

Environment

• Carbon Black EDR Server: All Supported Versions
• Linux

Resolution

• When upgrading within the same major family there are no OS dependencies. For example, upgrading from 8.7 to 8.10 the EDR packages will be the same. 
• When upgrading to a new major OS version there are dependencies that require uninstalling cb-enterprise and re-installing. For example, upgrading from 7.9 to 8.10 the dependencies and libraries are different.
