Question:
Can CA provide a sample assembler version of a database procedure?
Answer:
IDMSCOMP and IDMSDCOM are assembler database procedures for which CA provides the source.
We usually recommend using procedures IDMSCOMP/IDMSDCOM as templates, since these compression/decompression procedures work on different records. The source code to IDMSCOMP and IDMSDCOM are stored in the CAGJSRC lib at install time. This is also documented in the Database Administration Guide, chapter: Coding Database Procedures.
