Why am I getting "permission denied" when running any APM installer on Linux or Unix?

If experiencing "Permission denied" when running any APM installer on Linux or Unix. then it may because your company is preventing execute permissions in the tmp directory. To work around this, specify an alternate InstallAnywhere temp directory location by using the IATEMPDIR variable.

To set this variable, you would issue this at shell prompt:  export IATEMPDIR=/someotherdirectory/tmp
