Issue/Introduction

Messaging Gateway (SMG) is able to use an instance of LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) for malware definition updates but LUA only lists SMG versions up through 10.7 as options while the latest SMG release is 10.9. It is unclear how to configure LUA for SMG releases later than 10.7.

The "SMG 10.7" version setting in LUA is the setting for all Messaging Gateway versions 10.7 or later and may be treated as "SMG 10.7 or later".
