Broadcom is announcing End of General Support (EOGS) for the following Aria Operations management packs, effective October 1, 2024. Alternative ways to integrate those technologies with Aria Operations are listed when applicable.

The following is a list of the management packs and, where applicable, the recommended transition path: 

• Aria Operations Management Pack for Apache Hadoop: End of General Support

Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the Aria Operations Management Pack Builder to connect to the Apache Hadoop YARN ResourceManager and HDFS NameNode APIs and create their own management pack.

• Aria Operations Management Pack for Arista EOS: End of General Support

Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the Aria Operations Management Pack Builder to connect to the Arista EOS API (eAPI) and create their own management pack.

• Aria Operations Management Pack for Cisco HyperFlex: End of General Support

Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the Aria Operations Management Pack Builder to connect to the Cisco HyperFlex REST API and create their own management pack.

• Aria Operations Management Pack for Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops: End of General Support

Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the HPE OneView for VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack available on VMware Marketplace.

• Aria Operations Management Pack for Microsoft Hyper-V: End of General Support

Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the Aria Operations Integration SDK to query the System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) VirtualDB SQL Server instance and create their own management pack.

Recommended Transition Path: There is no direct alternative however customers can use Management Packs or Telegraf agents designed for the specific technologies they were getting from SCOM, for example Microsoft SQL or Windows Servers.
