Provider Logo and Branding are missing after upgrade of VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

The provider branding and the logo are set to default VMware Cloud Director logo and branding after an upgrade from VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1 to VMware Cloud Director 10.6 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6

Resolution

  1. After login to VMware Cloud Director as a System Administrator, from the primary left navigation panel, under More, select Customize Portal.
  2. Select the Themes tab.
  3. From the Create theme drop-down menu, select a light-based or dark-based theme.
  4. (Optional) Select the Colors tab and select a color for each element of the theme.
  5. For changing the platform branding select the Branding tab.
  6. Enter a platform name.
  7. Upload a platform logo.
  8. Upload a browser fav icon.
  9. Upload a background image for the login page and Click Save.
  10. After the theme gets created, to implement the theme click on Actions and Make Default.
