Issue/Introduction

Attempting to download the Cost Reference Database through the "Download Here" link leads to an unavailable link redirecting to https://vrbc-services.vmware.com:8443/vrb-hub/license/manualUpdate.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x and above.

Cause

This functionality was primarily intended for development or hotfix purposes related to reference data. The downloaded data is encrypted and not intended for user modification.

Resolution

The feature to download the Cost Reference Database has been disabled starting from Aria Operations version 8.18 to avoid confusion. The reference database included with your current version is already up-to-date and there is no requirement for manual downloads or uploads.
