CA Spectrum SpectroServer shutdown due to Out of memory (OOM) during Online backup. During an online backup the SpectroSERVER fails to start back up and a similar stack trace is seen in the VNM.OUT:
The SpectroSERVER is on a host that shares resources.
The problem is due to shared resources when running CA Spectrum on virtual hosts. If there isn't enough free memory for the online backup to occur, then the online backup fails and the SpectroSERVER will not start back up.
Make sure there is enough free memory available to the SpectroSERVER. CA Spectrum requires dedicated resources per SpectroSERVER when running the SpectroSERVER on virtual hosts.
