Unable to promote or uninstall Web Services from CA 2E

Issue/Introduction

Unable to install one particular Web Service that was created from 2E product and also unable to uninstall another previously deployed Web Service using the YUNSWS command.

Environment

Release 8.7+

Components: CA 2E Web service

Cause

The file "/YCA/CAWS/ProdData/YQSHLOG" is a mandatory file that needs to exist in the IFS directory and it is missing. This is shipped by Broadcom as part of the YCA.SAVF file. It provides the base template for the log file that gets created in the "UserData" directory while attempting to install/uninstall a web service.

Resolution

Please restore the missing file and its directory structure from the YCA SAVF that was received during the download of CA 2E cumulative patch.  After ensuring that the file exists, retry the install/uninstall of the Web Service.
