Issue/Introduction

This article describes how to correlate Identity Manager (IM) task information across database tables for auditing and reporting purposes. Customers often need to link submitted tasks to specific events, such as when a Provisioning Role assignment triggers account creation in an endpoint.

All table and column names referenced below (e.g., tasksession12_5, event12_5, runtimestatusdetail12) are critical for findability in the IMSAUDIT schema.

Resolution

Main task information is stored across three primary tables: tasksession12_5, event12_5, and runtimestatusdetail12. To correlate information across these tables, use the following join conditions:

  • tasksession12_5.tasksessionid = event12_5.tasksessionid
  • tasksession12_5.tasksessionid = runtimestatusdetail12.eventid
  • event12_5.eventid = runtimestatusdetail12.eventid
