Issue/Introduction

Is there a limit to the number of email alerts CEMALERT can process?  How can you limit the number of JOEs that CEMALERT generates?

Resolution

There is no way in CEM to limit the number of Job Output Elements used outside of modifying policy to limit the events/actions processed.  It is possible to configure JES to limit the number of JOEs. CEM also provides an option to start a task in count only mode so you can see how many actions (emails, WTOs, etc) the policy set would issue using the policy set.
