Fatal error has occurred in servlet wen trying to export after adding a customized BREL field

Issue/Introduction

After adding a customized BREL field and trying to Export, why are we getting the following error:

“Fatal error has occurred in servlet please see jsrvr.log for details".

Environment

SDM 17.x

Cause

SDM does not support BREL, QREL, and LREL attributes via the Export button.

Resolution

The utility “pdm_exporter” which is responsible for exporting the data to Excel, intentionally does not provide support for BREL attributes such as "cr_list". It does support SREL attributes as well as dotted notation using SREL attributes. 

You can submit an idea in the Service Management community if you need to add this feature in future releases.
