Issue/Introduction

is it possible to perform a mass removal of a single attachment that is common across multiple assets.

Environment

Release 17.3 or higher
CA Asset Portfolio Management

Cause

The finding is that it is not possible to perform a mass deletion of the same attachment across multiple assets.  

Resolution

Attachments can only be removed from a singular asset and not the other direction, ie:  viewing all attachments, then deleting them from the asset.

Additional Information

It is not even possible to upload the same attachment more than once on different attachments.  Experimentation with attachments indicate that for a given file, ie "file.dat", attempting to upload the attachment to two different attachments, the first attachment will be accepted on the first attachment, but the second attachment will warn that there is an existing file present with the given file name and refuse to upload the attachment.
