Do I need to install the Tape Encryption component of CA1 Flexible Storage 15.0 if I don't plan to use tape encryption?

Issue/Introduction

Does the Tape Encryption component (FMID CD4BF00) of CA1 Flexible Storage 15.0 need to be installed even if there is no desire or need to do tape encryption?  Also, are any new LMP keys needed for this release of the product with new components being introduced?

Resolution

For CA1 15.0, the tape encryption component will be required for the installation, regardless of whether the features of this component are used.   

As for required LMP keys, no new LMP keys are introduced with this new release of the product.  A user should be able to use the existing LMP keys of the prior release of the product.
