Issue/Introduction

vSAN MOB is disabled by default so if anyone need it access, we can enable it using RVC.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x

VMware vCenter Server 8.0.x

VCF 9.0 (VMware vCenter Server 9.0.x)

 

Resolution

The following RVC commands can be used to enable/disable the vSAN MOB on VCSA:

  • Login to vCenter server using SSH session.
  • Login to RVC using command below.

          rvc [email protected]@localhost

  • Please run the commands below to enable and disable vSAN MOB.

                    vsan.debug.mob --start localhost
                    vsan.debug.mob --stop localhost

Additional Information

To access the vSAN MOB, use the URL below, where the [VC IP] is the vCenter IP/FQDN:

https://[VC IP]/vsan/mob/
