Issue/Introduction

The oracle probe does not detect the device when triggering the alarm, a situation that occurs only on this particular robot.

The equipment is a virtual instance within another robot running the Solaris 10 operating system.

The rest of the probes on the robot generate alarms correctly by detecting the device.

Environment

  • 20.4 CU9

Cause

  • cached data

Resolution

1. Open the controller probe using Raw Configure mode

2. Select Expert mode, then execute the commands "_nis_cache_clean" and then "_reset_device_id_and_restart".

This was done on both the main device and the virtually created one.

Then the device details displayed.
