Issue/Introduction

Performance Management fresh installation in RHEL 8.5

The message appears when run: mysql -unetoqs -p

"mysql: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found (required by /lib64/libinfo.so.5)

ldd -v /opt/CA/MySql/bin/mysql command output:

All versions

Cause

Was installed RHE9 package in RHEL 8.5 version

Resolution

Needs to run:

• rpm -e ncurses-compat-libs
• yum install ncurses-compat-libs

After run the installation setup again.

Additional Information

How many RHE9 packages has? run rpm -qa | grep el9

If has a lot of RHE9 packages might be better to reinstall OS and reapply RHE8 patches
