Issue/Introduction
Steps to reduce disk space used by the App Control Server software
Environment
App Control Server: All Supported Versions
Microsoft Windows Server: All Supported Versions
Resolution
Verify the App Control Server meets the minimum disk space requirements.
Server Documentation > relevant Version > Operating Environment Requirements > Server Architecture by Endpoint Count
Reduce Policy Installer requirements:
Log in to the Console and navigate to Rules > Software Rules > Policies.
Delete any outdated or unneeded Policy.
Agent installers are generated for each Policy , which can contribute to required disk space.

Verify only the Platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux) used contain Agent versions.
If a Platform is Enabled that is no longer used, navigate to https://ServerAddress/shepherd_config.php and disable the relevant Property:
GenerateWindowsInstaller
GenerateWindowsHostGroupZipPackage (used for XP/2003 installers)
GenerateRedhatInstaller
GenerateMacInstaller
Log in to the application server as the Carbon Black Service Account
Temporarily stop the App Control Server and App Control Reporter services.
Delete all temp files in the user profile temp folder (skip any files currently in use):
C:\Users\<SERVICE ACCOUNT>\AppData\Local\Temp\
Delete (or move) any old/outdated IIS Logs , by default these are in
%SystemDrive%\inetpub\logs\LogFiles
Delete (or move) any old/outdated App Control Server related files (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bit9\) for:
Server and Agent Diagnostic Logs: \Parity Server\Support\
Archived Event Logs : \Parity Server\ArchiveLogs\
Uploaded Host Files: \Parity Server\files\
Old Policy Installers: \Parity Server\hostpkg\<VERSION>
Temp Policy Installer Files: \Parity Server\hostpkg\temp\
If the database is also on the C drive, follow steps to free space in the App Control Database .
Additional Information
Some customers have reported success using a utility (such as WinDirStat, Treesize or Wiztree) to locate large files/folders elsewhere on the application server.
