Integration of VMware Cloud Director Object Storage Extension with AWS not working properly

Issue/Introduction

•  Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) users defined inside AWS are not being found while activating tenants using VMware Cloud Director Object Storage Extension (OSE).

Environment

VMware Cloud Director OSE 3.0
VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1

Resolution

1. Click on Tenants after navigating to the OSE page for the tenant.
2. Activate/Onboard the individual tenant with option Reuse account.
3. In the next dialogue box enter the Account ID of the tenant and click on Assign.
4. Wait for the tenant to activate the completion of the process. You can see the activated user under the option Active Regions.
5. Now activate/onboard tenant with option Share account. Please note that, share account can only be used after AWS account used by OSE tenant has completed activation in Step 5.
6. Now when you click on the Account ID box in the next page you will see the same account from Step 5. is shown.
