"Basil read workload parameters" errors got logged for Esxi hosts in VMware Aria operations.

In hostd below warnings were seen.

Hostd: warning hostd[2100948] [Originator@6876 sub=Statssvc] CollectDatastoreBasilStats: Basil read workload parameters for '#####-#####-####-######' are out of range: oIO=426701824, ioSizeBytes=0

Cause

"Basil read workload parameters" errors got logged for Esxi hosts in VMware Aria operations. after the deletion of VMFS 5 Datastore and creation of VMFS 6 Datastore using the same lun. 

Resolution

• VMFS 5 Datastore was deleted.
• LUN related to VMFS 5 Datastore was deleted from Storage.
• New LUN was presented from Storage to the host.
• VMFS 6 Datastore was created using new lun presented from the Storage.
