Issue/Introduction

Using the WebService REST agent in Automic to send a POST request with the authentication method of NTLM returns an error message:

U00021719 Syntax error in object 'JOBS.LOCK.REQUEST.REST', line '00001'. 'U01001308 Variable 'IS_LOCKED_FLAG#' has not yet been defined.'.

The job report shows

An error occurred - while sending the request
org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException

The problem only happens when using POST with NTLM authentication, GET works as expected.

Environment

Cause
